Article about the representation of detached houses in contemporary French movies

The article - following a comprehensive study and thesis on the subject - is showing the construction of clichés and mental representationsof detached houses districts by comparing images from contemporary French movies (1990- 2013) with original filming locations.
It is analysing framing, viewpoint, off-camera places, editing, colors, narratives, and interrogating mutual implications of these representations and the spaces.
